Work with me
Let’s improve how your team builds software
I help engineering teams improve their code reviews, developer experience, and software engineering practices through consulting, advisory work, workshops, and research.
Whether you have a specific challenge or want to understand where to start, I’d love to hear what you’re working on.

Support that fits your team
Consulting
We look at your engineering workflows, code review practices, and developer experience to understand what is slowing your team down and which changes could help.
I can work with you on reviewing your current practices, making sense of engineering data, and adapting your processes as AI changes how software gets built.
Discuss consulting →Advisory
An ongoing partnership for engineering leaders navigating change. We work through decisions and tradeoffs, choose concrete next steps, and revisit what’s working as your situation evolves.
Discuss an advisory partnership →Workshops
Interactive sessions with hands-on exercises and discussions built around your team’s challenges. We develop a shared understanding of useful reviews, feedback, and collaboration.
My code review workshop brings research and practical experience into your daily workflow.
Explore the code review workshop →Research
I work with organisations to investigate how developers work and how engineering practices affect their experience and outcomes.
This can include interviews, surveys, analysis of engineering data, and research collaborations on code reviews, developer experience, or AI-assisted software development.

A little about me
Dr. Michaela Greiler
I’m a software engineering researcher, consultant, and trainer. I hold a PhD in Software Engineering from Delft University of Technology, worked at Microsoft and Microsoft Research, and previously led research at DX.
Through Codalytics, I help engineering teams improve the practices they use to build and review software. My work brings empirical research together with the experience of the people doing the work.
I also host the Software Engineering Unlocked podcast and give keynotes and talks at developer conferences and internal engineering events.
