Privacy & cookies
This page explains how Michaela Greiler handles analytics, enquiries, and workshop registrations on michaelagreiler.com. For questions about your data, use the contact form.
Optional Google Analytics
If you accept analytics, this site uses Google Analytics 4, provided by Google Ireland Limited, to understand visits and which pages people read. Google receives technical information such as your browser and device, page visits, and network information when your browser contacts its servers. Analytics cookies help distinguish visits. Google may process data on servers outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States.
The Google Analytics script loads only after you accept. Declining keeps it from loading. Advertising signals and ad personalization are disabled. Page views sent by this site exclude URL query strings and fragments.
Cookies and your saved choice
Your choice is saved in your browser’s local storage under mg-analytics-consent-v1 for up to six months, after which you are asked again. This preference is used only to remember your decision. If browser storage is unavailable, it applies to the current page.
After acceptance, Google Analytics can set cookies named _ga and _ga_…. This site configures their lifetime to six months; Google may refresh them during subsequent visits.
Change your mind anytime
Use Cookie settings in the footer to accept or decline analytics. Withdrawing consent stops further analytics collection and removes Google Analytics cookies accessible to this site. It does not erase data already collected by Google.
For details about Google’s processing, see Google’s privacy policy and how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
Contact and workshop forms
I use your name, email address, and the details you submit to respond to your enquiry or notify you about the workshop you asked about. If you request a workshop place, I also use your session choice and billing details to process the request, prepare the invoice, and send payment and joining information. Billing details can include your address, business name, VAT ID, and invoice reference where applicable. The registration form does not collect card details.
Netlify handles website form submissions. I use registration information to take steps you request before booking and to administer confirmed bookings. I use invoice information to meet applicable accounting obligations.
Newsletter
The general newsletter signup uses Substack. Some older articles and the book early-reader signup use Mailchimp. Each service handles the information you submit to its signup form.
